Hi All Current Hardware Setup: CPU: 6ES7 214-1AG40-0XB0 Servo Drive: 6SL3210-5FB10-4UA1 Servo Motor: 1FL6034-2AF21-1AA1 Encoder Cable: 6FX3002-2CT20-1AF0 Power Cable: 6FX3002-5CK01-1AF0 V90 Setpoint Cable: 6SL3260-4NA00-1VA5 General Control Method: Siemens CPU: PTO, Pulse A and Direction B V90 Servo Drive setup with V-Assistant:: Fast PTI Control Current Status: I can successfully control the servo using MC commands from the Siemens Library. Challenges/Questions I am trying to determine the maximum acceleration and deceleration speed possible. I have the Ramp Up and Down Time set to basically as close as possible to Zero: What I found was, using the trace function in V-Assistant, regardless of the Speed I am using on the MC_MoveRelative command function, I tend to get a Ramp Up/Down Time of around 80ms each, regardless of the velocity setpoint. Are there methods to reduce this even more, to get as close as possible to a 0 Second ramp Up/Down time? Please find attachments for screenshots of the trace(s). I have also attached the PLC Program and V90 Servo File. Please see below the Setpoints I used for each test: 2500 RPM Test: MD144: Ramp Up: 1.052621E-5 Seconds MD148: Ramp Down: 1.052621E-5 Seconds MD136: Move Relative Distance: 5000 MD140: Move Relative Velocity: 5000 100 RPM Test: MD144: Ramp Up: 1.052621E-5 Seconds MD148: Ramp Down: 1.052621E-5 Seconds MD136: Move Relative Distance: 2500 MD140: Move Relative Velocity: 1000 I AttachmentProject Files.zip (216 Downloads) |
