Sinumerik 810 132* Contol Loop Hardware error

Troy7373 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	I am trying to get an old 3 axis machine back into service. I have the TEA1, TEA2, SEA, and PCP all loaded into the machine and I have been able to home the machine and run it. All our other machines that use the 810 contoller also use the measuring circuit monitor that is turned off with Bit0 on 560. When I turn monitoring on and try to move an axis I get error 132 Control Loop Hardware. I have two questions, what does the measuring circuit monitor actually do? What do I need to look at to so I don't get the 132* error?

Pee Ell Sea Posts: 672 Rating: (57)	Hi, You need to have correct feedback from the measuring device. Like the error says. You have a hardware problem. It is not usualy a system fault but an encoder feedback error Pee

Troy7373 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi, Thanks for the reply. What are the potential problems I might have if I don't use the measuring circuit? When I have the measuring circuit turned off, all three axes work and travel the correct amount. I have verified the cables, axis drive cards and even tried new motors and it is all three axes that are affected. Thanks, Troy
