Ammy Platinum Member Joined: 4/19/2008 Last visit: 9/3/2024 Posts: 1525 Rating: (159)	Hi All, I am facing the problem with SIPART PS2 Profibus PA type, on the Control Display it is showing the FS -- -- Error, I have checked the all possiblity related to the Error. Error Means Fail safe (air discharge valve opened). Possible causes No communication with master- Correct station address - Address is OK I can see in PDM Target mode set to ”MA” - Set target mode to ”automatic” with class 2 master - the valve is in Auto mode But what is mean by Class 2 master Master sending incorrect status - Send status ”0x80” (good) - on send I am getting good Status In Hardware Configuration I have defined as a READBACK, POS_D, SP i.e.Readback, position discrete, setpoint. for the Readback & POS_D Status I am getting the Hex 16 From PDM also I can able to initialization also from the Valve also I can able to do the initialization. Let me know what I have to look for this problem

If you put other Sipart PS2 what happen? its a good test to diagnostic this problem. what about EDD/GSD version? Hi Suzuki, I have 17 SIPART & all having the same problem, & in the Diagnostic it is showing the Fail Safe open condition. & GSD is also correct one & Software revision is 5.00.02-00 / E1 & look like all the Valve having the same problem but I can't able to reach the right condition.

If is possibleremove the Link and acess inProfibus PA direct in coupler, what happen? can you get all diagnostics em PDM? What appears in bufferdiagnostic from CPU? Can youdescribe allhadware configuration?

Did you try send a setpoint to Sipart? Hi Suzuki, yes I am sending the Cyclic Setpoint, if you see the SFC 15 it is sending without any error also. is something wrong in the my Logic or some setting....
