Question: Do the SIPLUS Digital Input (DI) modules follow the same "Power reduction (derating) in relation to the mounting position and ambient temperature (per module)" graph as the regular DI modules? I am specifically concerned with the number of simultaneous channels that can be used on the SIPLUS DI at ambient temperatures up to 46 degrees Celsius. This question is specifically regarding the SIPLUS S7-1500 DI 16x110VDC HF TX, part number 6AG2521-7EH00-4AB0, based on 6ES7521-7EH00-0AB0. The graph of power reduction / simultaneous channels from the regular DI documentation is attached. The graph in the documentation for the regular DI (attached) shows the horizontal mounting position (line 1) allows simultaneous use of all 16 channels up to an ambient temperature of 40 degrees. After 40 degrees, the number of channels that can be used simultaneously drops linearly by about one channel per 2.5 degree increase in ambient temperature. This continues until an ambient temperature of 60 and the number of simultaneous channels that can be used at 8. Above 60 degrees, no channels can be used. The SIPLUS DI technical specification does not specify the number of simultaneous inputs (channels) that can be used in ambient temperatures between 40 and 60 degrees. It only says that for temperatures between 60 and 70 degrees, the number of simultaneously controllable inputs is max 4 (no adjacent points). Therefore, it is unclear whether the SIPLUS DI can use all 16 channels simultaneously at temperatures between 40 and 46 degrees (the ambient temperatures I care about). According to the graph, the regular DI would have a maximum simultaneous use of between 13 and 14 channels at 46 degrees. Does the SIPLUS DI follow the same power reduction graph? If not, what is the correct power reduction in high temperatures graph for my specified SIPLUS DI module? Thank you.
