SITOP UPS1600 with UPS1100 problem

Hello,

I got an UPS1600 (6EP4136-3AB00-0AY0) with an UPS1100 battery (6EP4133-0JB00-0AY0).

But there seems to be an issue.

In the manual I read that this setup is only working of the software version of UPS1600 is > V2.1.

How can I check this if there is no USB or LAN port?

If this setup is not compatible how do I know which UPS or battery would work?

Please advise.

Hi

I used the same setup (UPS1600 + UPS1100) once and everything worked correctly. I believe the information you saw in the manual reffers to the UPS1600 with Ethernet/USB interfaces (different MLFB), that can be also monitored using the SITOP UPS Manager software.

Ahh, my bad, it wasnt 100% clear to me from the manual.

One more thing...the >85% LED is off even if the battery is charged and measured voltage is at 28V.

What could cause this? I would expect it shows this only if the battery is being discharged in buffer mode.

Setting is 21.5V and time to maximum.

If I am not wrong, in the screenshot you attached, the LED >85% is on.

However, are the 2 wires for communication between the battery and the UPS connected?

Yes the terminals between UPS1600 and UPS1100 are connected (X2:11+12 and X2:1+2).

The LED on the battery is also lid green.

Currently the >85% is not active but the measured voltage is > 28V.
