LesPaul Posts: 467 Rating: (59)	Sorry, I don't understand your problem at all. Does the ramp down of the soft starter not work properly or do you just need no ramp down function in your application? If you don't need a ramp down you just have to set the coasting time t(Roff) to zero.

HermannE Posts: 25 Rating: (2)	Hello, for a soft stop ramp at the 3RW40 you have to parameterize the ON/ RUN contact as follow. How to parametrize the ON / RUN contact 13/14 of SIRIUS Softstarter 3RW40: RUN parametering: - Press button RESET MODE /MAN >2sec. as long as Device LED is (green) flickering - Then press simultaneously to button RESET MODE / MAN the button RESET / Test for >1s. The LED Device status is then (red) ON and the LED STATE / bypassed flashing (contact13/14 ON-Mode). - release both buttons Then press again button RESET MODE / MAN for >1s. LED DEVICE is ON and LED STATE / BYPASSED flickering (contact 13/14 is in RUN-Mode). - release button RESET MODE / MAN After this the RUN-State must be saved. Please press the button RESET / TEST for >1s. SIRIUS Softstarter 3RW40 parameters have now changed to function RUN. Description ON / RUN-Function: ON = contact 13 / 14 is closed as the ON-Command is active on terminal 13/14 RUN = contact 13 / 14 is closed too at soft stop mode is running Further you can read it in the manual on side 2 and 3.
