STARTER, Procedure to save results of trace function into data file

could you explain me what is the procedure to save results of trace function into data file (eg. block notes-txt files) or (better) to export them into excel?

... you can save the trace files directly.

If neccessary you can Export them in different formats (like .CSV for excel) for further Evaluation in EXCEL, Matlab, Octave,  ....

I Understand... but what is the procedure to do that?

I saved the measures as trace file (.trc) but all I have is a .txt file filled with random simbols.

How can I save graphs or, better, arrays with data? (eg. couples of array (time-variable value).
