iqballibya Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	hello i am instrumen technician working in a cement plant, our plant is now going towards plc and i want to learn plc, i have downloaded step 7 lite but when i start it show nothing in that software, no functions and libraries, i dont have hardware and want to use that software with out hardware,or want to see libraries and functions thanks

For learning purpose, I do recommend to contact Siemens / your local partener to arrange a training course for the Simatic Manager. Or visit www.sitrain.com

And for the softwarem Siemens offerers Premium Studio software, It's cheap and I think it will be the cheapest way to learn most of Siemens software packages.

(libraries, project window) Then go to 'File' -> new to start a new project. The floating license means that it can be moved for using to another computer (look here). There is only starterkit with the CPU313C and the Step7 Basic. On most cement plants is used Cemat based on PCS7, look here. Regards Sydney

Perhaps the Project view and Library view are not locked. Please move mouse at right side and left side of Step 7 lite window. When the project view or Library view appears.
