Hello, you must change the old modules in the classic project to newer one. The old modules are not supported in TIA so you can't migrate such configuration from classic to tia. Regards |

Thanks, Well, I have eliminate one module from my error migration log. for this module 2AI RTD ST (6ES7 134-4JB50-0AB0), i searched with the keyword of the module, and then I found a Delivery Release which contains the new module and the predecessor module. I have updated the HW Configuration in my SImatic Hardware Updates. I replaced the old one and put the new module. It works.. But, for the 4 remaining module, it's not easy as the first one. Is there any easiest way to know what is the new module for the same module? I mean, the newest version of the module. |

Hi, you can go to the product support startpage and insert the Ordernumber in the Product filed, now all informations are displayed included the successort type if avaiable. From the first posting i see that the other modules are Safety F Modules. Gave you installed Safety option Package in TIA? Christoph |

Also one handy tool to migrate old Step7 project to Tiaportal is: SIMATIC Migration tool TIA. With this tool, you can select migrate without HW configuration. After the migration is done, open the file with TIA portal. You have to Migrate the migration file created by SIMATIC Migration tool. The TIA Portal will tell you that no HW is selected, please select correct HW from the catalog. |

Hello, exactly the same yo can do directly with TIA Portal! Migration Tool is for use if no TIA Portal is installed on the System with the old Software Packages (Step7, WinCC Flex, Distributed Safety, SIMOTION Scout). If the old Packages and TIA installed on the same PC then you can directly migrate in tia (With or Without HWConfig).

hi GalauMan, when you have installed the actual F-Configuration Pack, you don´t need to install any older version of it. Maybe you need to install the actual Distributed Safety too. Distributed Safety V5.4 SP5 Upd2 Here are the actual module versions: 6ES7138-4FA04-0AB0 -> 6ES7138-4FA05-0AB0 what about the version of your IM151? What MLFB does it have? hope this helps, regards, |

Hello, F-System and Distributed Safety are SW Packages for the OLD SIMATIC Packages (Step7 V5.x). For TIA you need the TIA Step7 Safety Advanced V14 so that the F-modules are available in TIA Portal. If this Package is not installed no F-Modules are supported and migration fail.
