Tag Prefixes and WebNavigator

Daniel1983 Posts: 25 Rating: (0)	Hi! I have a simple question: Is it possible to implement tag-prefixes (e.g. for a pop-up picture window) when the project will be viewed using webnavigator? At the moment, the pop-up windows work OK when using WinCC RT, but their functionality is not available when using an internet explorer window. I'm using Version 6.2. Thanks!

Daniel1983 Posts: 25 Rating: (0)	April, I looked at the help file you mentioned, but I could not find anything relevant to the project. The project is set up as a single-user project and there is only one server. The picture windows appear when I want them to, however the indicators within them do not work, although it works fine uner WinCC runtime.... If I change the tag "suffix" within the generic picture window to the speicifc tag, it then works with internet explorer. IT seems that the tag prefix is being "ignored" when viewed with IE....

There are two ways to set the TagPrefix - hard-coded in the property or dynamically via a script. which way are you using ? I would recommend you start off by hard-coding the prefix into the TagPrefix property of the PictureWindow and testing this. If this works then there is something wrong with the script you are using. Daniel1983 Posts: 25 Rating: (0)	Salma, I'm not using a script to set the tag prefix, it's fixed in the properties of the PW. Interestingly, 'direct connection' (e.g. assigning a value to a tag on mouse action) worked OK, but an analog 'dynamic dialog' (e.g. animating the colour of an indicator) did not work...
