pats11 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello frnds, When i open the S7 simatic manager i get this error every time. the code for the error is - ( OPEN PROJECT 257:90) anyone has faced the same type of problem ??? if yes please let me know the solution if u have ....... the loading of processor is ok even the system is running fine. Even i checked with the ONLINE status of AP its all fine. Just let me know whether the system has some serious error or it its OK ? Thank you in advance. Attachment s7.JPG (641 Downloads)

Ihad similar problem although I didn't remember exact error code. It happened because I killed my project through windows taks manager. I had to do it because program freezed during online changes. You can try to save as new project with option reorganization (slow). Just go for Save As. If you get that project from somebody else, you can check version of all all software components. aikona Posts: 487 Rating: (36)	Hi In the manager try a slow re-organise if that fails then.... Try in the hardware config the Ctrl-Alt-F11 and see if this solves your problem. Eric

FunStuff Posts: 103 Rating: (10)	I just had this problem today and could not get the error to clear even with Re-Org or Save As with Re-Org. I experienced the problem after WinCC Flex stopped responding during a save and I needed to shut it down with the task manager. I don't know if any others were using WinCC Flex, but if you were, I found a fix for the error by doing the following steps.(Basically removing the HMI program completely and re-integrating. If you know how to do this than don't bother reading the steps below) 1) Archive the Step7 Project to have an unmodified version in case something goes wrong. 2) Open the WinCC Flex project from Step7 and save it as a stand-alone HMI project (menu - Project --> Copy from Step7 and save as something in a different folder) 3) Close the WinCC Flex project 4) Delete the PC or Panel object from the Step7 project 5) Save the Step7 project with Re-Org as a new name 6) Close the Step7 project 7) Open the saved HMI stand-alone project and re-integrate it into the new Step7 project (menu - Project --> Integrate in Step7 and find the new Step7 project) 8) Once integration is complete go to the Connections tab and select the new station name from step 5 9) Check your tags and make sure they accepted the connection 10) Close the WinCC project 11) Open the folder where your Step7 projects are kept and delete the old Step7 project 12) Open the new Step7 project and rename to the old name 13) Open the WinCC Flex project from Step7 and verify that the connection updated. 14) I also ran a compile all on both the Step7 and WinCC Flex projects after this was done. If anyone was using WinCC Flex that had this problem let me know if this works for you.
