I was confused with S120 GSD it shows SM120 V4.5 and plc is not communicating with drive, even Com led was not glowing on CU320-2 PN. After checking for GSD S120/G150 is best matched and drive is communicating. Make sure to assign CU320 unit name and ip address from TIA portal. Regards. Vijayant Hi @Vijayant & @0_Einstein I do have a similar issue. I have a S120 CU320-2PN V5.2 & S7-1214C DC/DC/DC CPU. Configuration using the GSDML was a piece of cake till here. But I have a BLM (20kW, Infeed Module), A single motor module with 1PH80871SNxxx Motor. Hardware configuration under distributed I/O is possible using the hardware from GSD. Compilation also doesn't result in any error. But once I downloaded the correctly configured compiled configuration, TIA could not recognise the entire S120 group device (Device not reachable). Surprisingly if i remove control unit & infeed module from the S120 device under distributed I/O & just configured DO Servo & added Standard Telegram 1 or 2 or 3 (same thing configured for axis in Starter), there are no compilation errors & device will be error free from TIA online. But unfortunately it is not an axis. I just need speed & direction control for my connected asynchronous 1PH8 (induction) motor. This function is not possible to configure in the selected Telegram. If i go for a free telegram, i am landing up with an error saying the size of the selected Telegram is not sufficient for the configured functions. Version of TIA didn't really matter. I tried with V14, V14.1, V15, V15.1, V16 & V17 (All fully featured 21 days trial installation). All with latest updates & HSP update. For S7-1500 CPUs it works smoothly even if i configure directly from Hardware catalogue or even from GSD. Problem is only with S7-1200. Local official support couldn't comission the same & the BOM was technically verified by Local Siemens prior to ordering. How to run this setup!!!??? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Sinamics S120, CU320-2PN, S7-1200 Communication in TIA portal V11 SP2.

Have you already tried to use the official script to generate the GSD? https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/92022677 Please also make sure that the Profinet name and IP address are correct.
