I forgot to say that I haven't install SIMATIC S7 on my computer yet and the project use external tags of S7. Could this error because of that? Or it should open the project??? ... What do yo means exactly? Original project is WinCC integrated in Simatic Manager project?...and are you trying to open over engineering station without Simatic manager? Regards

I Try to open it without Simatic manager.I didn't know that it's impossible... So,is it the reason that I can open a downloaded sample project but not the another one? Regards. Obenam

bg2492 Diamond Expert Joined: 5/16/2014 Last visit: 6/29/2022 Posts: 7298 Rating: (2051)	Hello smtazar, if you have copied the project from a project in the Simatic Manager, you have to remove the so called "TIA-Flag", to open it directly in the WinCC-Explorer. To do this, you have to attach the configuration database in the MS SQL Server Management Studio. Then delete some entries in the table "dbo.CC_Prj_Options", the "UserInterfaceMode.TIA" and all starting with "S7...". Regards Georg Berghof Attachment TIA_Flag.jpg (383 Downloads)
