Thin Client screen saver

Hello forum,

For the first time I'm using a Thin Client SIMATIC ITC with a RDP connexion to a Windows 7 PC. The Thin Client is not used a lot of time so a Screen saver will be good I think.

Physically on the PC the Windows 7 screen saver (blank screen) is working but not on the Thin Client.

I do not find something about screen savers in the manual, is there a possibility to use screen savers on this Thin Client ?

as far as I know, there is no screen saver option on the ITC. You should activate a screen saver on the server side, where your ITC connects to.

If the screensaver runs on the server and the ITC is connected to the server, I expect the ITC to show the server's screen saver as well.

it is only a little strange that the screensaver works on the server itself (Win 7) but not on the Thin Client. Everthing is working fine like RDP needs to do, but not the screen saver. I suppose that it has something to do with Windows RDP connection...
