time error about WINCC

peters Posts: 122 Rating: (4)	dear experts: there is a single_user wincc project running in the OS,today i found an time errorabout the alarm records.only the time in the "operation list"was right(the same as the OS time),time in other columns(for example:"incoming alarm list"、"acknowledgad alarm list"、"outgoing alarm list" and so on)are all wrong,about 8 hours later compared to the current time of the OS.I don't know why.

peters Posts: 122 Rating: (4)	dear experts: there is no "time synchronization" between PLC and WINCC. see document "synchronization". i think this problem is not related to the "time synchronization" ,because there is no "time synchronization" before and the time of WINCC is OK. i am not so sure about the meaning of questions asked by MR Dec,could you find answers from my document"plc clock setting"? if not,please let me know.thanks! How are the alarms generated (e.g.chronological messages...)? Best regards, Danielle

From your document: WinCC believes that the PLC time is UTC time and willconvert to local time when disply the time stamp. You have to verifythis in STEP7 PLC->Set time of day... if indeed your plc time is UTC (correct) or local time (wrong). If you are in China an 8 hour difference seems to be the offset between local time and GMT-UTC. Dec
