Hello, The number of flags is 4 kbyte, see the following link: 6ES7212-1BE31-0XB0 CPU 1212C, AC/DC/RELAY, 8DI/6DO The number of timers and counters depends on the workmemory of CPU. Because you use for each timer and counter a FB with DB.

Some CPUs support 4 kBytes of bit memoryothers support 8 kByte. On pages 20 of the following document you can find detailed information about the quantities of the various 1200 PLCs: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&lang=en&siteid=csius&aktprim=0&extranet=standard&viewreg=WW&objid=34612486&treeLang=en On page 21 you can find information about the memory consumption of timers and counters. The 1200 CPUs don't support the kind of timers and counters you mentioned from the 300/400. The timers and counterssupported in the 1200 are called IEC timers / counters and they are supported in the 300/400 as well. These timers / counters can be placed in global DBs as well as in multiinstance-DBs. The details about each method are described on pages 188 and 189. |
