Hi, As form TIA V17 it is possible to use PLCSIM together with WinCC Unified. This makes it possible to test systems simulating both PLC and HMI communicating with each other. It also make possible to simulate project with s7-1200. SIMATIC STEP 7 incl. Safety, S7-PLCSIM and WinCC V17 TRIAL Download TIP: Start first the PLCSIM, after start the WinCC Unified simulation (so you avoid that S7ONLINE access point of application is set to other communication channel). |

Note when upgrading TIA (e.g. from V16 to V17) - the WinCC Unified PCRT object must be manually upgraded to the new version: Devices & networks > right-click on device > Change device / version. As of PLC f/w V2.9, the user can choose between secure or unsecure PG/PC/HMI communication. PLC > Device configuration > Protection & security > Connection mechanisms > Only allow secure PG/PC and HMI communication Unsecure communication circumvents certificate requirements, useful for testing/simulation. The user running the simulation has to be a member of the usergroups "PlcSimUser", "SIMATIC HMI" and "RTIL Trace Users", as pointed out byFred1816. |
