Hi, I am migrating S5-115 with CPU 943 to S7-314 CPU. I dint't make the original program. The program is running in a packaging machine from Italy in an Argentinian factory since 20 years ago. In the FB31 segment 5, there is a TNB instruction. The migration tool give me an error. I am researching the program an have a problem. The TNB instruction transfer 22 bytes from memory area with address 310C - 3122 to EF64 - EF7A I/O image area. The I/O image area EF64 is EW100 than is used later in the program. I understud than the program transfer data from internal memory (310C - 3122) to EW100 - EW122. My problem is than didn't find in other part of program, reference to this internal memory. Maybe is a MW area or DB area. Can you help me? I attach S5 program, and document with image status program in FB31 Best regards Attachmentfiles.zip (359 Downloads) |

Hi, I think EW equal IW Input word in german terminology. So maybe the memory area in question simply not used, but the inputs are directly accessed on other places. Anyways some info on your case: how to replace "TNB" in S5 by "SFC20" in S7 Anyways, as far as I can recall in S7-300/400 the SFC20 is not used for reading input... SFC14 is. I hope I could help! |
