Hello deepak.samal05 here's some additional info over and on top of Umencho's advise: 1.) YES, but it does require afibre Optic ring and OLM's (Optical Link modules) 2.)To start with we need to consider that Topology is related to the the physcial layer and usage of the asscoiated components to "build" the Topology. What this thenmeans is that - in principle - anything Profibus protocol related (i.e. DP, FMS, FDL) will thereafterbe able to use the Topology. PA is of course an execption as it operates on a different physcial layer (MBP or Manchester Bus Powered), so it has it's own rules for Topology. Profinet (being Ethernet based) has of course it's own Ethernet related Toplogy rules. Anyway, best starting reference material for all these things are the following manuals(in addition to the the Profinet system manual link from Umencho): SIMATIC NET PROFIBUS Network Manual System Manual(all things Profibus) Bus links DP/PA coupler, DP/PA link and Y link(all things PA specific) SIMATIC NET PROFIBUS Optical Link Module(OLM specific) I hope this helps |
