Hi all,

I have a question related to configuration of user administration authorization in runtime.

I am using siemens TP1200 comfort for my project.

Basically we can configure the  user administration authorization ( define the operation access for each user ) during engineering. But I have to configure this user administration authorization from runtime screen not from configuration screen.

what is the best simple solution for this ?

Hello,

Yes, its possible to add user and give Authorization to particular user in runtime of HMI. This can be possible only if you have admin right. Configure  the User Administration control in one of the screen. During runtime, login with admin right then  add new user in User administration control and assign the authorization for added user.

I am very much thankful for your effort.

I have seen this vedio this is helpful but this vedio is regarding to create user in runtime.

I want the information regarding after creating the user i have to assign the authorization to each user related to operation in runtime same like creating user in runtime.

I want to give limited access for operation to each user as per his designation or roll. for e.g. if there is user name with maintenance then he has access to screens related to maintenance and if user name with operator then he has access to run the machine.

Like wise I have to assign all this roll to each user in the runtime only.

I don't want to go in the user administrator and in user group assign the authorization to each user.

Please if u have solution please revert back asap.

If you the video , i have not only shown the how to create User in Run-time but also show how to assign the User group for created User.

One thing is clear that User groups can not be created during Run-time. You need to create the User groups as per your requirement with authorization in Engineering only e.g Operator/Supervisor/Manger etc.

Now during Run-time you can assign the any group to any user. See the video again.
