TP177B Backlight?

He would like to switch the backlit off as the panel, when it goes into 'idle' mode still has a backlight too bright for their application, he would like to control this backlight so that it is off or at least close to off when idle and only lights up when operated. Is this possible with this panel? If not, what new 6' panel can do this? Regards Philip

Tweety Posts: 3037 Rating: (192)	Hello DesignTech, You can use the screensaver of the TP177Bfor this. You can control the screensaver about the time. See this in the manual on the chapter 6.1.2.8. SIMATIC HMI Bediengerät TP 177A, TP 177B, OP 177B (WinCC flexible) You can change the contrast of the TP177B about the function "adjust contrast". You can control the Backlight at the new Comfortpanels. Tweety
