Unified simulation locked during install

Hello everyone,

I hope I'm in the correct area! I have recently install TIA Portal STEP 7 Basic/Professional, STEP 7 Safety Basic/Advanced and WinCC Basic/Comfort/Advanced und WinCC Unifiedand I am not able to select the simulation option for WinCC Unified during the install. When I select the Item, the following text is supplied:

As of TIA Portal V18 the WinCC Unified PC Runtime Simulation is available via DVD „SIMATIC WinCC Unified PC Runtime V18“.

Simulator and WinCC Unified for the simulation of projects on the engineering computer

I have installed SIMATIC WinCC Unified RT PC V18 Simulation and received a license transfer error when I was installing. I have attached a picture of my licenses.

Do I actually need a DVD, or do I not have to correct license? Can anyone tell my why I cannot select it? I have been looking for a few hours but the only thing I have found is a video by Hegamurl. I did follow it, but everything was already enabled in my windows features.

If you did install the Simulation DVD (or the download version from the online support), then you do not need to check it in the Engineering installer. You already did. It is just a hint, that it is not on the same DVD/installer medium anymore.

Since the Simulation uses the Software of the PC Runtime you get asked for a license transfer. You don't need to do it for Simulation puposes. You will get licence warnings in simulation like before. Just ignore them.

I can see the error image when selecting the tick, but I cannot see anything related to the license.

Also, where you able to install the iso of the WinCC RT or not? I have not understood correctly this point.
