       I got some trouble during commissioning of S210, and I had carefully read user manual, but the it not work as description of manual.

     1. Every time I power off S210, the password of admin is lost, that mean there always first log in password set windows pop up when I power on S210,  I have try with or with out CF card, same result.

     2. After I set the admin password and login, it looks like i only got access of SINAMICS user, not Administrator User, there only 3 option available on the right side, HOME, Diagnostic, Backup/resotre,  commissioning is not possible.

    Since the S210 do not support Starter, I have no idea how to continue, in user manual, the instruction is very simple, just log in and commissioning, but actually it completely not work as user manual.

     Yes, currently no motor connected. I will try connect a motor to check again.

    I just connect motor encoder, than the S210 ramp up.

    it wired that convert can not work stand along. whatever it solved.

The SINAMICS S210 Drive System can only be parametrized when the 1FK2 Motor is connected. During boot-up the S210 searches for the connected motor (via DriveCliq) and presets the motor relevant parameters. When the S210 does not have any motor feedback (via DriveCliq) the S210 can not preset revelvant parameter, e.g. P1082 (maximum speed) and therefore no parameter can be set.

 Hi Expertise

     I'm curiosity that does S7-300 controlled setup is technical possible? I have check the application example of S71500 control programming, it's looks like the close loop control is implemented by PLC rather than SINAMICS, the only thing need is SINAMICS library.

     But it looks like S210 is not officially support S7-300 since the SINAMICS toolkit do not include S210.

    Do you have any opinion?
