Urgent - TIA Openness V15 demo

I am trying to learn the TIA openness example V15.1 demo from here

But when I click the .exe file, I only got the assembly selection window, nothing else. What is wrong? I am using the Tia portal V16 version. 

So, you do not see anything when you open the drop down menu on assembly selection?

What do yo see if you go to Windows registry?

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Siemens\Automation\Openness

There are all the assemblies that you have installed. If you have installed Openness, you have assemblies.

Assembly selection reads assembly paths from registry.

Many thanks for your help. :) In tia portal version, there are four version when I drop down, : 14.0, 15.0, 15.1, 16.0.

But for openness version, it is totally blank in the window of this demo. 

But in registry editor, as for openness, I saw four version.

In first dropdown you select which TIA portal you want to launch. If you select V16 assemblies are searched from that PublicAPI, like in pic.

In your picture you have not selected TIA Portal version, so there cannot be any assemblies. 

I choose 16.0, but I can't click the Okay...

Weird, almost seems like you have not installed Openness, or something is wrong with installation. Registry entries are not like they should. 

You should find the actual DLL's in following locations (Default Path). Siemens.Engineering and Siemens.Engineering.Hmi

DLLs need to be in PublicApi folder, because program resolves assemblies from there. So in your TIA installation folders there should be one, it is created automatically on installation.

This is the interface from Tia portal V16, it looks that I have the tia openness, so it is very strange...

Can you locate the dlls?
