Use Area Pointer with Symbolic access?

William_B Posts: 5225 Rating: (1197)	RasmusDK ..@William B - I don't agree with you here, as far as i see it, that's the only way to get the actual screen number out of the machine - otherwise you need to do something like "set bit" or "write value" when you load a screen - that's a lousy solution i think.... Yes you are right... Have you used the start-up wizard in WinCC (for basic panels) before? Have a look on how the page heading is implimented - note also the "page opening" events. [wink] By the way - we use a mouse click and key recording application for repeated tasks. That significantly reduces those (previously) lousy solutions. ..it however does not matter - you are the designer of your project. [smile] Good luck. w
