user archive stop working

inxman Member Joined: 7/10/2006 Last visit: 1/22/2021 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi, It's s7-200 on mpi network communicationg with wincc 6.0 sp4 with Simaticnet opc. The PLC periodically sets the id to -1 and job to 6 then the archive data gets a set of data. But I have experienced the problems like the job returns to -1 or stay as 6 not reseting itself and therefore it prevents it from collecting data fromfollowing triggers. I can reset it by entering 0 or 6 to the job in opc scout and I tried to do it in vb script but it didn't work well for me. Please advise Thanks!

Code would simply mask the problem and not fix it. Please zip the files in your Diagnose directory and post them here. We can take a look for any obvious errors.

Please remove the connection "S7$Program(1)" in the Simatic S7 Protocol Suite Channel Driver if it is not needed. 2) The OPC_01.log file is showing a lot of tag errors. Some of the tags mentioned are K240Blueink_level mixer2comment2 mixer2comment1 mixer3comment4 dosingProcess_AD6_3 I recommend that you identify why these errors are occurring and stop them. All errors are bad butmaybe preventing the above errors will resolve this problem. Please try this and let us know. 3) Finally, next time you see the problem, hover the mouse over the tag in WinCC Explorer. The tooltip will show the status of the tag - good, bad, no connection to PLC, etc. This information is useful for troubleshooting this fault.

inkman Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I have noticed that the number of fields in the archive has something to do with the problem. It only happens on those having more fields. For instance there are archives were working fine until I added more fields to it. Any thoughts
