I've never used E-plan myself, but seen a lot of schemes made in E-plan with S7 components (PSU, CPU, SM modules) and appropriate wiring. I really doubt that designerswere drawing them manually.

It has many libraries for many vendors. While you installing AutoCAD electrical, it asking you which manufacturer library you have to install? One of these libraries is SIEMENS and I found the PLC modules and many more for SIEMENS products. Regards,

Eplan this is program for electical profi. In this DVD: 6ES7991-0CD01-0YX0 SIMATIC,TECHNICAL PRODUCT DATA FOR CAX APPLICATIONS, (INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION SYSTEMS), DATA MEDIUM DVD, (EDITION 2007) This includes each part of siemens PLC parts ( not many more ) Technical product data for S7-300, S7-400 and ET 200 For in use in CAD/CAE applications Consists of: Component data as per ECAD component standard Dimensioned drawings for CAD/CAE systems Macros/Macro libraries And finaly you can use it also with Autocad "Electrical". regards

Just select Expert interface and you get a whole lot more very nice options. among them is import of .z13 macro's and dxf files. Just wanted to let u guys know.... Jeebs
