Using Simulation mode

Hello,

I have one TIA v17 project used in real world that has SINAMICS S120/S150 CU 320-2 PN drives. The TIA project has these drives listed under Technology Object folder. By searching this forum and SIOS I have found out that starting from TIA v15 it is possible to simulate drives without real connection to the actual hardware.

I have downloaded TIA project to the PLCSimAdv v4.0 SP1, and the program executes. I just want to change actual position of the drive and would like to see how this is done.

I have activated the option "Activate Simulation" as shown in the attachment. I don't know how to jog or make a move command that will change the position. Interesting thing is that actual position shows some value different from zero when started simulation in PLCSIM Adv, like 0.63

So, can you please, point me the right direction to find an example or a short tutorial, how actually to use this Activate Simulation option to simulate the drive?

I have found almost identical question on the forum, like 8-9 years old, but no real example on how to actually use this simulation.
