Does anybody know if it's possible to view the current / last cycle time of an F Runtime group in F_GLOBDB? I know other variables are availabale (signature, compilation time etc.) but can't find this one.

no, I don´t think you can get the F-Cycle-Time out of F_GLOBDB. This is a protected DB, maybe it is inside, but I didn´t found something about it. 

Have a look to the excel-sheet in the following contribution. You can calculate your max. cycletime of your F-Application-group whit it.

An other way is to calculate it by yourself. Read the time when OB35 is started out of the TEMP-Data of OB35 and get the systemtime after execution of the safety part whit SFC1. Then use the FC34 in IEC-Function-Blocks to subtract this times.

Thanks for that. I'm working on a project supplied by an integrator and I don't think they used the S7cotib sheet to work out their times. I'm going through this now retrospectively, just wanted to see if I could view the current run time.

Unfortunately the group software standard in the company I work for has the F-Call in OB1 (not my idea!) so it might be a little difficult to calculate.

it isn´t difficult too. You can use SFC1 before and after the F-CALL.

It is not recommended to call the F-programm in OB1. It is not forbidden, but it could cause problems. Do they know this?

Here you see it in the Manual of S7-Distributed Safety. Rules are on page 87.

Yeah they know about this, in our previous software standard we called in OB35. I work for a large German car manufacturer that is heavily involved with Siemens in Germany and this is where this came from.
