"siemens like" PLC - Siemens Industry Online Support - Technical ... 2- for what I'm aware the digital and analog modules are identical and could be replaced but feeling around are not very reliable. 3- I think that you can do the opposite, to program with STEP 7 VIPA CPUs. |

Good Day Mohammed You can use Siemens Step7 from about version 5.5 to configure and program all current VIPA products, without any hassles. You can also download the GSD file contain the VIPA product library from the VIPA free of charge http://www.vipa.com/en/service-support/downloads/and then import it into Step7 for ease of use. VIPA themselves also offers their own product package called winPLC7 which allows you to configurate and program all VIPA products as well as Siemens S7 300 and 400 systems Hope this was helpful |
