Hi! As I know, Step 7 Basic contains also the simulator. You can start TIA and click on the HELP tab / Installed software .... and then in the lower part of the pop-up click on "Detailed information about installed software" to see what you have. |

Hi if You need: 1. a weekly interval (i.e. 7 days apart; regardless of hour): you can use IEC Timer (it covers up to 21ish days) 2. if you want to trigger an event on a specified hour (i.e. monday, 0600hrs): - read system time and when it is more equal setpoint: 1. check monday before or at last execution date. 2. after execution remember the date in a data block this way you do thing once a week or on first opportunity in given week (i.e. when PLC is OFF at time of scheduled time) I did this for data logging in Citect SCADA. Script is below (should be easy to convert to SCL in S7-1200/1500): // Function checks if files needs to be moved to C:\OLD_LOGS and makes this happen when needed. |
