Smog Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi to all, I have been readingthe posts on a wf723a card, I have been in touch with siemens to get the manuals as they are now discontinued,I am looking for com723 software in english,I have the german version but my german is rubbish.... The cards are in a S5 115 CPU 945 system. I have a problem with the analog output on axis 2 and wish to change it to axis 3 as this is spare. I have also been told that data loss will occur if card removed from S5 slot. is this correct ? Ifthis is sowhat type of data will i have to retore ? Could the PLC restore the data ? To top it all off the customer has removed the WF706 card in error and i am hoping this does not cause further data loss/problems.. The cardsare being usedfor a conveyor drive on a glass tempering furnace with 611 simodrive. very simple operation but with position, oscillation and transfer operations. The WF706 is used with encoders and standard 3 phase inverters. Thanks in advance Kevin Smith

One year ago, i was working on a restart of a very old machine in wich there was 4 WF723A and 2 WF706 card's; it's very dificult to find documentations about them, i just have the manuals for WF723A and i think that i have the WF706 manual too, if you want them just let me know and send me a private mesage. I can tell you, if you remove the card, it will lost his configuration, but if you reload all the PLC program with all DB's and DX's the data is then restored. Also for Com723 please check this link. Maybe MR you can contact Mr late, or Mr Umencho to get the software. I hope this help.
