when I download my new program to MP277 screen ,are there some parameters will be lost

pazig Posts: 11 Rating: (1)	Dear friend I want to make some modification in WinCC flexible for my machine, but I'm wonder when I download my new program to MP277 screen ,are there some parameters will be lost?can you tell me what happen with some setting value if new program is dowloaded ? In my system, the MP277 program assigned in PLC program,I connected to PLC via PC adapter cable.is it possible to online MP277 program in this case( via profibus DP)? Please help me. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from WinCC flex 2008, select the screen for start in Runtime.

Dear friend.. your answer is good but maybe the wording can lead to some confusion. What you are saying... When you load a program to the HMI, the program and parameters inside the PLC is not effected. When you load a program to the HMI, one should be careful for not selecting "download all" (right?). If you ask for "download all" values stored in memory (recipes, historical alarms, passwords and data logging) will be replaced with what the default are from the WinCC Flexible program. I have not worked much with WinCC Flexible - could you tell us if there is a way to backup the data so that it can be restored when things go wrong. My thanks. w

pazig Posts: 11 Rating: (1)	Dear friend For this purpose, If i want to load 1 screen which be modified to HMI, ia there any way to chose? Is it possible to load only 1 screen, not all ?because I'm scare some parameters will be lost, i will got many trouble. Thanks so much.

(You can backup the HMI panel) And when you want to, you can restore this back to the same panel. (You can not edit this file) (Prosave will be installed on your computer, else you can download it) Best regards, Wizard
