Indeed this is the fastest. No one will tell you scan speed because it depends on your program and communication load. Download this manual SIMATIC S7-300 Instruction list S7-300 CPUs and ET 200 CPUs and here you will find execution times on various PLC. Then you can have more basic idea on the speeds. |

Hi Darius Am not sure but scan time specified on SIEMENS CPU is the time taken to excute 1000 instruction, it's obvious the more instructions the higher scan time. Read the SIMATIC S7-300 Instruction list S7-300 CPUs and ET 200 CPUs then you can have basic idea. |

Try to use rubber - shock absorber. Also have a look to the "plus extreme" series of S7-300. |

Hello desmul24; You will find links refering to Siplus modules(ruggedized automation platform), resistant to high-vibration, in the following discussion: /tf/WW/en/Posts/72308 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

For what type 1000 instructions it is specified ? Boolean logic, floating point or maybe indirect addressing ? Could you please point me to the page number of that manual where is specified S7-300 scan time for 1000 instructions ? |
