Hi nice3, This question is very broad to answer since you have many alternatives and different options depending on what you are looking for. To structure a SCADA you have options of classic WinCC V8 and then WinCC Professional V18 or WinCC Unified V18, which would be the latest version available on the market. Some differences between them would be the following: - Wincc Prof/Unified is programmed in the TIA Portal environment. - Wincc v8 is independent in wincc explorer and is more powerful when it comes to the SCADA system, leaving the PLCs aside. - Wincc Prof/Unified is an attempt to integrate something similar to Wincc classic in TIA Portal but since WinCC Classic has been on the market for many more years, it is better developed. - The good thing about Wincc Prof/Unified is having everything integrated into TIA Portal and being able to upload from there directly. Then to program PLCs it depends on what range you want to use, whether S7-1200 or S7-1500, which would also be the most current. To program them in both classic and TIA Portal, you should purchase a STEP 7 V5.6 license for classic as STE 7 Professional V18. I recommend that you speak with a Siemens sales representative so that they can advise you and offer you the best possible option based on your needs. Best regards!
