Hello As per the product information of latest DIGSI 4 version V4,89 ( Attached ) the compatible versions are : a)DIGSI 4 V4.85 / V4.86-> STEP7 V5.5+SP1 b) DIGSI 4 V4.87 / V4.88 / V4.89 -> STEP7 V5.5+SP2 Curiously ( It does not mention "and higher" ). So there is no clear confirmation that STEP7 5.5 SP4 is compatible with any DIGSI version. You have 2 options : a) Check with energy support : energy.support@siemensand ask for a confirmation b) Downgrade your STEP7 installation to V5.5 + SP1 for your existing DIGSI version. or to SP2 for the latest DIGSI version Hope this helps Cheers Navnag AttachmentProduct_Information_DIGSI4_V4_89.pdf (700 Downloads) |

As per the Siemens Energy Website , : DIGSI 4 is required for SIPROTEC-4 relays and DIGSI 5 is required for SIPROTEC-5 relays. I am not sure, but I think DIGSI-4 and DIGSI-5 ( I have not used DIGSI-5 yet ) are two different softwares with different capabilities. DIGSI 5 does not replace DIGSI-4. Cheers Navnag |
