whou can i do slave to S7-1200 whit s7-300, in step 7 v5.5?

Hello josh_117, No you can't, you need TIA Portal for this In STEP7 "classic" the S7 1200 does not exist The only way is to migrate your project from STEP7 v5.5 to TIA Portal and then in your project you put your S7 1200 as slave. P.S. next time explain your problem in English

It is possible to develop a link between S7-300 and S7-1200 without working in the same design environment. The two communication parteners can have different projects. Ste39 has given a link to show this. The question is rather.. what communication medium is available from the S7-300? If only MPI - then you have a problem. Although (€xpen$ive) converters Something like Profibus, Profinet or Modbus makes it possible. Are there other communication partners (example: ET200 / HMI)? It will also be helpful to know also what type of data needs to be shared. Maybe analog or digital signals can be used instead. With your comments on these text, I am sure there will be more to work with for you. Greetings. w
