Sorry for reviving an old thread, but it seemed relevant. Is there a particular reason for hex being used versus a decimal? A follow up question would be if I moved 16384 to the speed reference word of telegram 1, would the drive interpret it as 100% of p2000? Or is it a requirement to move 16#4000 for the drive to interpret it as 100% of p2000? Seems like either would work considering it is just different ways to represent the same 16-bits. I only ask because I see a lot of referencing in hex, and never in decimal. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
