WinCC Advanced V13 SP1 – Simple Sample: Recipes Export / Import

“Simple Samples” are small projects that demonstrate simple features. The target is give a quick overview about the theme and be used as start point for related discussions. Follow there are a short description and the configuration main steps.

Description:

In this simple sample, it is possible import / export recipes (one specific data record or all) from / to an archive by button click.

Requirements:

WinCC Advanced V13 SP1.

Project with a minimum configuration (stop button, tags, recipes, etc. - see “WinCC Basic V13 SP1 – Simple Sample: Recipes” - https://support.industry.siemens.com/tf/br/en/posts/135157/).

Configuration main steps:

• Create a integer internal tag for the data record number (in our simple sample, “DataRecordNumber”, UINT)

• Create a string internal tag for the data record number (in our simple sample, “HMI_Archive_path”, WSTRING)

• Drag & drop both tags to screen (to build IO fields)

To export:

• Create a button and attached the function ExportDataRecords (button properties → events → click: Recipe Number/name = 1, Data record number/name = DataREcordNumber, File Archive = HMI_Archive_path, Overwrite = yes, Output status message = on)

To import:

• Create a button and attached the function ImportDataRecords (button properties → events → click: File name = HMI_Archive_path, Data record number/name = DataREcordNumber, Overwrite = After Confirmation, Output status message = on)
