Waterboy Posts: 85 Rating: (6)	Hello folks, How can you read the "Number of Messages in the list" and "Number of Messages not acknowledged" in a tag (any internal tag) so that they can be displayed elsewhere independent of ' WinCC Alarm Control ' ? (e.g. WinCC Alarm Control Object is on one screen and you just want to display these values on other screen) Regards, Joey.

However I don't know the code[:(] BUT I did see a really cool way to do this recently : - draw an Alarm Control - double-click on it - on the Status Bar tab deselect all buttons apart from the "Number of messages in the list" - then resize the control to only show the bottom left hand corner of the control I have attached an screenshot for you too. To my mind, this is a nice solution as it involves no scripting [;)] Attachment forum.zip (463 Downloads)

Waterboy Posts: 85 Rating: (6)	LOL... So far I used to do the same thing what Salma suggested. I thought that's no a better way of doing it besides it has a drawback that when cursor hovers over it, it comes into action and display changes. (Idon't thinkyou have seen my code [:blush:] ) Regards
