Hello, The point is not in the HMI alone but in both HMI and PLC. You need a PLC that catches these I/Os and prepare them to be viewed on HMI every 1 msec. It might become possible if you dedicate a PLC with timed interrupt to catch these I/Os and scale them every 1 msecthen we should look at the HMI. 1 msec is very hard. I know one application that requires to catch variable changes at this sample rate and maybe more and this application is monitoring of electrical power parameters in power plants. but let me tell you that for such applications there are some dedicated devices that catch these samples and send reports and trend buffers either to PLC or to SCADA directly but I've never seen PLC doing what you are trying to do. I think you need to catch these variables to show them in trend view. There's a similar technique to what we have in power plants which is buffered trends. In this technique trend buffer is built in PLC and transferred to HMI at certain triggers but I still believe 1 msec is very hard. Check this FAQ. Best regards. H-H |

HI ! Is it a question of just displaying the data after acquisition or you want to display it as a running trend or oscilloscope????. |
