WinCC Scripting : Trigerring script configured on event

Waterboy Posts: 85 Rating: (6)	Hello there, Is it possibleto trigger the "C/VBS Action configured on some event" through C or VBS script? e.g. On Mouse Action Event of Button 1 object, there is C Action configured for displaying certain screen. Is it possible to trigger this action (C script) via C script (may be action on another button) ? (i.e. without clicking Button 1) Hope I am clear ! Cheers !!

I hope I got your question; If not please correct me: You can schedule an action by means of cyclic/acyclic timers or a tag change. You can also use WinCC-ODK APTransAct/APStart functions to schedule an action to execute programmatically. Dec

Waterboy Posts: 85 Rating: (6)	Hi Dec, Thanks, that's helpful. But I am talking about the action configured on mouse click event of the button. What you have described is a cyclic action. I want to programmatically execute the actions (function using C or VBS) configured on click event of the button, of course without actually clicking that button. Hope I am clear. Cheers !

Could you maybe explain what you want to achieve by doing this, it may give a better idea of what to do. I cant think of a way to do this by executing the mouse click event script without actually clicking it. However you could create a global script or project function and call that function. What you could also maybe do is put the script of the mouse click event under the object change event of that button and change one of the attributes of that button from the other button. This will trigger that event for you. I have attached an example Attachment click.zip (482 Downloads)
