I don't think you need two licenses for clients. Since you only have one "WinCC Client", you only need one WinCC RT license for that. Moreover you require just the 128 tag (RT or RC) license for the WinCC Client. (You only need the required tag count license for the server -read here) The WinCC Web client license is included with the WinCC Web Navigator Base Package (up to 3 simultaneous clients).
Also, SoftnetS7 Lean is included with WinCC. I don't think you need to purchase it separately.
WinCC (v7.0) is not compatible with Windows 2008 Server. Here is thecompatibility list. Since you will be making your Server a WinCC and Web Server, may be it is a better option to use Windows Server 2003 instead of XP. Maximum 3 web clients can be connected on XP pro. |
