WinCC TIA V15/15.1 Scripts lag / delay

Good morning all,

I have a random issue in where some functions (toggle button screen run by C scripts) sometimes lock up / lag for 30-60 seconds. Whilst this is happening all dynamic points are still updating and I am able to navigate elsewhere in the runtime without issues. The script is common to all of the buttons which are causing issues. I would like to be able to understand the diagnostic functions of WinCC but am a bit overwhelmed with all of the documentation. Here is the script below. Thanks
