witing codes in one FC or more?

A.control Posts: 88 Rating: (1)	Hello, Can anybody please tell me when should I stop writing in one FC and make a new FC? To clarify more, I have several CP341 which I'm trying to write the send and recieve jobs for them. I can write send and recive jobs for all the CP341 in one FC, or I can seperate each send or recive job of each CP341 in a unique FC, so I will have two FCs(send and recive) for each CP341. I don't know what to do, but I feel if I seperate them they can be executed at the same time and this means faster process, while writing the the codes of all CP341s in one FC can be ended to the slower action of reading and writing, is it correct? Can anybody help please? Best Regards

In my personal experience, the limit depends on the type of CPU you are using, depending of wich kind of CPU you have, the maximun size of a FC/FB/DB allowed by the CPU change. Lower performance CPU's allows smaller blocks and high performance CPU's allow bigger blocks. To know maximum size of block for a specific CPU check CPU's technical data. For example CPU 315-2DP Link I hope this helps. Regards.
