Working with OP7 Messages

alexfizeau Posts: 95 Rating: (0)	From what I have read about OP7 messages I know that I can display a message on the OP7 if a bit in a DataBlock that I configure is set. But what happens ifI acknowledge on the OP7 the message: the bit that was set by the PLC in order to display that mesage is reset by my acknowledge button press or I have to reset it myself again in the PLC program ? [:blush:]

When a bitis set in PLC, the coresponding message will be shown. When you acknowledge the alarm, the bit in PLC stays set. The alarm is still there, but you acknowledge that you have noticed it. The PLC programm has to reset that bit, when that alarm isn't present anymore.
