Write/read data to WinCC (SQL Server WinCC) by Visual Basic

hanhdn Posts: 20 Rating: (0)	Dear Sir! I have some data from other program. I were write/read it to SQL Server of Microsoft, it is ok. But, I can not write/read it with SQL Server of WinCC. If anybody know, how to do it with with Visual Basic 6.0. Please help me!

Shakil__ Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Dear Member, You can read the data (userarchive and processvaluearchives) using WinCC OLE DB provider. Further details You can get from documentation of Data Connectivity Pack. You have to make a ADODB connection to the project database and then You can read in VB. As I know You have to create User Archive to write data. From where to where You want to manipulate the data? From WinCC to another SQL Server. Read data from WinCC project database (it is CC_date_TimeR in the SQL Server) using specific SQL Queries and then insert in to Your database. If You want to insert into WinCC database then You have to create User Archives where You can insert the data by using ODK functions.
