X axis Contour Monitoring

Deepstr Posts: 29 Rating: (0)	Hi, We have equipped with Betts lathe machine with 802D & 611 digital drive system. Recently we are facing following axis in IIIrd shift at night. Emergancy stop 3000 025050- X1 contour monitoring 021612 1 Axis S1/Sp - VDI signal drive enable reset. 700027 IR module not ready Whenever operator travels X axis in Rapid the machine displays above alarm. But when operator travels the same axis in Feed it runs without any problem. In next day morning when we run the machine same axis runs without any problem. Can any one analysissuch misbehaviour of machine. Thanks & regards, DEEP.

RAM81 Silver Member Joined: 3/3/2008 Last visit: 10/5/2023 Posts: 333 Rating: (51)	hi deep try to check whether any mechanical problems are there , also check whether any problems are there in in the brake is it is having.. also check whether you are programming the rapid rate more than the machine specs. try to increase the contour tolerance and check . with regards ram .

Dave Posts: 271 Rating: (29)	Hello Deep, We don't know if the emergency stop is causing the Infeed Module to shut down or if the Infeed Module ready signal is going away for other reasons which could cause the emergency stop to come on. Perhaps the line supply is unstable giving an alarm on your Infeed Module. Is this possible? My best regards...
