Advise on how to downgrade for CPU 6ES7417-4HL04-0AB0 firmware version V4.0.12 to V4.03

But if you need to replace one of the CPU in H system, yes you need the same firmware version. In Marcjan link is mentioned how to do it. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev

After correspondence with the customer support was proposed to change to new processors. When I got the new processors, they found 4.012 firmware. Therefore, when different versions of the firmware update should be done with a younger version of the CPU. I worked with the 414H, but it is almost identical to 417H. And the new firmware has appeared at the same time for both modifications CPU
