Hi, I have searched the forum but didn't find any useful info! The problem is I want to connect to S5 via s5 ethernet layer 4 channel I have cp1613 in pc side and cp1430tf in plc side. I wrote a sample program with (send and receive) and also try Fetch and receive (active and passive) , but can't go online with wincc!! I can easily connect to plc via SIMATIC S5 Programmers Port AS511.CHN but with ethernet layer 4, I can't!! First of all, I have to say that I use AUI to AUI cable instead of transceiver!! Is it cause of my problem?? I'm not sure that sample program that I wrote is correct or not, I can say in status variable, for FW that assigned to ANZW, I get an error 0A0A!! 1-so, deos anyone has any sample program for both sides??( wincc and plc) 2-sholud I only use fetch and receive when I want to use layer 4 or I can use send and receive as well. Best regards, Alfie |

Dear Eric, Thanks for reply ;) You can find plc program and cp database+ some screen shots from wincc in attachment! in pg/pc, I have CP_H1_1: -->CP1613(ISO) in system parameter I have CP_H1_1:/SCP ( do I change system parameter Device Names or not??) you said that in PLC, I have to use only SEND ALL and RECEIVE ALL, so where do i define which DB to send or receive, if I don't use SEND or FETCH handling block!! I want (for example) to read DB10, DW0 from PLC and write to DB12, DW0 from Wincc!! in wincc channel diagnostic, State is disconnected and no error code!!!( see attachments plz) so, i'm completely confuesd!!! by the way, I have 1 trasceiver, when I connect both cp1613 and cp1430tf to this transceiver, for the port that I connect cp1613, collision and transmit LEDs lit flashing for constant period, but for the port that cp1430 is connected, no flashing for LEDs!! ( I don't use coaxial cable for transceiver, just for connecting these two AUI cable for CPs ( instead of AUI to AUI cable), I'm not sure it is correct or not!! so, what do you think?? where is my problem?? Hope you and the other guys help me to pass this problem!! best regards, /Alfie AttachmenttranportTEST.zip (848 Downloads) |

Dear J_Bell Well, I changed the plc and cp program, would you please check this out?( attachment) 2 jobs in cp, one Fetch Passive(ANR 1) and one Receive Passive (ANR 2), and sample program in plc to create DB10,DW0 (increment per seconds),and only SYNCH and SEND-ALL and RECEIVE-ALL handling block. in wincc side, create FETCH ACTIVE under "s5 ethernet layer4", create new tag assigned to DB10,DW0.( see screen shots in attachment),and use I/O Field to show this tag. so, if assume no hardware problem, should this system works properly?? (and if it doesn't work, can I be sure the problem is related to hardware??)( because I still have the problem after this modifications ) and about Wireshark, you mean that I have to use AUI to RJ45 converter, and then connect it to HUB and monitor that hub via another network card in my PC??( is there another way or another software??) Hi, ok it seems there is a WinCC proplem. Check the WinCC diagnostic files the diagnostic files you will find where you have installed wincc. for example: C:\Program Files\Siemens\WinCC\Diagnose More information for reading the diagnostic files can be found in the FAQs http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/22892165 http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/22089969 http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/22892721 http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/22892720 |

Hi there, which files( from diagnostic files) do u exactly need?? I attached it!! I can't find anything useful from them! J_Bell! what do you think about post # 7?? did you consider that?? By the way, I found NDIS adapter driver in cp1613 CD, and installed it follow the instruction, and NOW I have cp1613 in wireshark interface list, but it seems it only shows traffic from RJ45 port, not AUI. so what do I do next?? ;) Thanks ALL, Best regards, /Alfie Attachmentdiag.zip (752 Downloads) |
